Beautiful Venetian Pool in Florida

Instead of planning an expensive holiday to Venice to enjoy its baths, lagoons and architecture, how about traveling to Miami instead? The Venetian Pool located in Coral Gables, Florida, is a historic public swimming pool in a Venetian Lagoon theme, complete with a Venetian-styled bridge and classic mooring posts. You can just ask your charter bus driver to get you there easily as one of the places to visit in Florida.
The Venetian Pool was built from an old abandoned coral rock quarry. Designed by architect Phineas Paist, the pool is now listed as one of the National Register of Historic Places. As thelargest freshwater pool in the United States, the Venetian Pool gets fresh water daily from artesian wells. Surrounded by beautiful palm trees, bus rental visitors can get their share of sun at the sandy sunning area specially designated for sunbathers. There is also a grotto where natural water-filled caves stretches way back into the hillside, for a whopping twelve feet deep.

Orlando hotels fit for kids

When bringing your kids for holiday, sometimes it is hard to find somewhere to stay where kids will also enjoy. In Orlando, there are a few hotels where both parents and their children will enjoy their stay with the myriad of activities and facilities available there. You can always ask your shuttle bus driver to take you to any of these hotels as they would know how to get there with no trouble at all, and yet able to fit everyone in your party in the vehicle.

Kids would definitely enjoy staying at Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge, especially if they love animals. Tame gazelles and giraffes roam freely around the grounds of this lodge and this safari-themed hotel will delight kids and adults alike. Guests can also take part in educational activities held here such as craft-making, African drumming, and even mini lessons about the animals here. All these activities are provided free of charge and led by staff of the lodge.

If you are looking for a family resort, then Disney’s Wilderness Lodge would be fun. There is lake access, hiking trails, a standout pool and water slides and even kids activities organized daily. On top of that, there is also a giant gym as well as a fancy Western frontier decoration that kids will enjoy.

All kids have definitely heard of Nickelodeon, and they would definitely enjoy all the fantastic kid-themed facilities at Nickelodeon Suites Resort. Affectionately dubbed as the Nick Hotel, this place is made specially for families. The hotel has its rooms configured for family living with separate bedrooms, shared space and even kitchenettes. The on-site facilities here include 2 water parks, a shopping mall and live entertainment at the pool and everyone’s favourite place – Studio Nick.

Another Disney place kids would enjoy staying would be the Disney Port Orleans Resort Riverside. This hotel is designed to have the look and feel of an old town at Mississippi Delta and with its super fun pool complex and large rooms that can fit 5 persons, this place is value for money.

If you want something that is a little more luxurious, you can head over for a stay at JW Marriot Orlando Grande Lakes. Although it is not super kid-friendly, but there are also activities and facilities that kids will enjoy while the parents live the life of some luxury even with kids on tow. This hotel features large, spacious rooms as well as arts and crafts activities for kids to enjoy. The pool houses a lazy winding river pool and there is also Saturday evening film screenings available here for wholesome family fun.

Come Experience The Warmth of Wynwood

When it comes to art works, we strongly believe that it is not confined to just painting on canvases, but that it can be on almost anything and from anything. If you enjoy art very much, perhaps you will enjoy a trip to Wynwood in Miami to check out some of the most amazing art done by talented street artists. In fact, if you are planning for a holiday with your friends, it would not be a bad idea if you were to suggest to them a trip to Wynwood in a Miami bus.

When it comes to the second Saturday every month, Wynwood becomes a lively place (not that it is a “dead” place on other days though) because it is the day when you will food trucks lined up in a field as well as the sidewalks and streets. It sorts of become a place where visitors – locals and those from out of town; would come and be amazed at the amazing art all around the place and feast on the food that are sold by the food trucks. With the anticipation that the place will be very packed, it is definitely a good idea not to drive but to hire a Miami shuttle bus instead. It would do you and your friends no good to be circling the area trying to find a place to park the car. It would be better if you were to use that extra time to enjoy walking through the place and admiring the art works than to be stuck inside the car.

The best time to arrive at Wynwood for the ArtWalk (that’s the name given for the event that happens on the second Saturday evening each month) would be before 7pm. For you and your friends to arrive in the chartered Miami bus, you will feel very glad that you have been relieved of the stress of driving through the area, which would usually be packed with cars (and not forgetting the food trucks too) and to find a spot to park your car during the event would be quite a challenge too. To some visitors, they think that the place should also be named “Wall Art” due to the amount of murals that are found in this place. You would not be able to find such amazingly beautiful “graffiti” elsewhere, so don’t forget to bring your camera with you to capture them.

Discovery Cove - Reservation-Only Park

Even for people who prefer to keep away from nature and animals, visiting Discovery Cove is worthwhile simply because one gets the chance to actually swim with dolphins. The park is basically a reservation-only park which provides an all-inclusive package for rental tour bus visitors with the chance to get intimate with animals of all kinds in a very private, resolute, primitive yet resort-like environment. Some of Shuttle Bus Companies’ customers have come out of the park wishing that they didn’t have to end the day.
The best thing about visiting a tourist destination like Discovery Cove, as opposed to dropping by other theme parks that are also quite popular in and around Orlando FL, is that there is cap-off limit of only one thousand and three hundred people in a day. Yes, this means two things; one, reservation of tickets is an absolute must and two, no crowd even during peak seasons.
The highlight of Discovery Cove is their dolphin diving and swimming adventure. If the chance presented itself, we strongly recommend making another pitstop, together on an Orlando shuttle bus, at The Grand Reef where visitors get to wade, roll and swim along with some of the most gorgeous sea animals and fishes known only in tropical climate sea waters. Get thrilled when you come nose to nose with tropical fishes and powerful manta rays. In the meantime, you might notice a few marmosets and cute little otters waddling and swimming around in one of the world’s best man-made tropical habitat.
The Freshwater Oasis presents many other different animals to interact with like parrots, toucans and other exotic birds and animals too. The park prides itself in being one of the best-run parks in this side of the country and the staff are trained to put visitors’ interests and safety as top priority. You can feel their sincerity and willingness to help you make the most of your time here as they go around making things as smooth sailing as possible for you and your family and friends, the same way Shuttle Bus Companies hopes to be your travel companion during your vacations.
Visitors who interested in making a short charter bus rental visit to this popular tourist magnet is advised to make their bookings more than a month before the trip. There are many photographers located within the park’s vicinity so, even if you have forgotten about your camera, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. You will still have loads of pictures to take home with you.
The admission fee, obviously, is on the high side but let’s take into consideration that it is an all-inclusive pass and that there is a fourteen day unlimited admission to Seaworld and Busch Garden too.

Art in Orlando

Orlando is synonymous with big, world-renowned destinations that celebrate popular culture. But long before Mickey Mouse discovered Central Florida, artists and their affluent sponsors were drawn to the balmy climate and exotic landscape. Their work and collections are at the heart of several small art museums in the Orlando area. These gems are familiar to art-loving locals, but often little known to shuttle bus visitors who flock to the area. Discover Orlando with a bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus chartered from Shuttle Bus Companies, and prepared to be amazed.
The permanent collection at the Orlando Museum of Art includes African pottery and textiles; American art by such notables as Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Robert Rauchsenberg and John Singer Sargent; pre-Columbian art; and ancient pieces from the American Southwest. In addition, it offers Orlando shuttle bus visitors a variety of visiting exhibits year-round. The museum's mission is to be an educational resource for the community. The museum shop highlights the work of an individual in-state artist each month, allowing patrons to buy a piece of contemporary Florida art.
The Mennello Museum of American Art is named in honor of Marilyn and Michael Mennello, who acquired a large collection of paintings by Earl Cunningham, recognized as a major 20th century folk artist. Tropical scenes from his travels and his sojourn in Florida inspired his fauvist paintings. Since his death in 1977, Cunningham's work has been acquired by major museums, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the National Museum of American Art and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. The Mennellos donated their paintings to the city of Orlando. The Mennello Museum, situated on a lake in Loch Haven Park, was built to house the collection. The museum also hosts a number of diverse exhibitions during the year.
The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is home to what Vivienne Couldrey, author of "The Art of Louis Comfort Tiffany," has called "the most important collection of Tiffany material in the world today." Located a short shuttle bus ride away in Winter Park, a northeastern suburb in the Orlando metropolitan area, the museum has many of the windows, mosaics and furnishings from the chapel Tiffany created for the 1893 World's Exposition in Chicago. The museum's collection also includes decorative arts from the Arts and Crafts movement, the European Art Deco movement, and paintings by noted American and European artists.
Albin Polasek was a Czech-born sculptor who settled in the United States and headed the department of sculpture at the Art Institute of Chicago for 30 years. In 1949, he retired to an elegant home in Winter Park, an Orlando suburb, and became an avid gardener and art collector. The home and three-acre garden are now the setting for more than 200 of his sculptures and other pieces by noted artists, and open for viewing by shuttle bus visitors. The museum is one of only 30 included on the National Trust's Historic Artists' Home and Studios list. The gardens serve as a backdrop for both artistic and musical events.
Orlando’s art scene is exciting and vibrant, as you will discover on your shuttle bus rented from Shuttle Bus Companies. Shuttle Bus Companies has a range of shuttle buses that can cater to any shuttle bus group’s travel needs, and their friendly and efficient staff will help organize your shuttle bus trip with a smile.
